Important Audio/Video Connection Instructions

To ensure a smooth connection to the ZoomGov classroom, please follow these steps:

  1. Before joining the meeting:
    • Disconnect from your work VPN and Microsoft Teams. These programs may interfere with ZoomGov’s audio/video connections.
  2. When joining the meeting:
    • Click the virtual classroom link below and select “Join Audio by Computer” or “Join with Computer Audio” when prompted. This is necessary to connect your microphone and speakers.
    • If you see a browser prompt requesting access to your microphone and speakers, click “Allow” or “Grant Permission” to enable audio.
  3. Test Your Audio and Video:
    • After joining, we recommend testing your audio and video settings by clicking on the options in the lower-left corner of the Zoom window.

You must fulfill the following technical requirements to participate in this training session:

  • Primary computer or laptop to complete training exercises.
  • Second monitor or secondary computer to view the instructor in the Virtual Classroom.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  • 3-Button Computer mouse.
  • A speaker/microphone for two-way communication.
