“You guys take AWESOME care of us while we’re here. We’re spoiled. :)” -Laurie A., DOD (Autodesk Maya Advanced Course)
In this Advanced Maya Training Class we will review the basics covered in Intro to Maya and dive further into hard surface modeling, technical modeling, organic modeling, and set modeling. You will learn to use light utilities to build advanced indoor/outdoor lighting rigs, and shaders with advanced texture networks to achieve the best possible results. We will also teach advanced rendering pipelines utilizing Maya Software rendering and the Arnold render engine using Render Layers, Batch Rendering and export the frames to Adobe Photoshop or After Effects to put the final touches on our still and animated shots. Advanced animation workflows and dynamic simulations will also be covered to create the most believable and realistic animation possible. The advanced class is also a great way to learn about all the new Features now bundled with Autodesk Maya like: the extended MASH toolset, 3D Type, Viewport 2.0 with Arnold, and the improved Motion Graphics Toolset used to create complex procedural effects.

“The finest class I have ever taken at Think BIG. I honestly couldn’t be happier with how this Advanced Maya class went. The instructor, the content covered, and enjoyment experienced during this training was unmatched. [The instructor] covered so many topics and techniques that I was interested in pursuing but until now never knew how to tackle them. It’s always exciting to learn more about interesting topics, particularly in software I use often and enjoy. I loved this class!” – Jimmy S. – DOD (Advanced Autodesk Maya Training)
“Likely the best class I’ve ever had, certainly the best class I’ve ever had on the subject of Advanced Maya. Best part? Not only did I have fun, but I get to turn around and use everything I learned at work tomorrow. :)” – Laurie B., DOD (Advanced Autodesk Maya Training)
