This Working Efficiently with InDesign Long Documents training course shows designers how to create book-length documents using InDesign. The course focuses on long document elements such as page and chapter numbering, table of contents, cross-referencing, and indexes. The course also provides an overview of document construction, from creating master pages and applying consistent formatting with styles, to placing text and images, and outputting to PDF Creating Books.

Prerequisites for Attending Working Efficiently with Adobe InDesign Long Documents:

Students need to have completed our InDesign Introduction and InDesign Advanced courses or have working knowledge in all topics covered in the Introduction and Advanced course outlines. Students must have a good working knowledge of computers, operating systems, using a mouse, keyboard, standard menus and commands. Students must be able to open, save, and close applications and files, as well as navigate to other folders.
