Course Description: In this hands-on, two-day HTML5 & HTML Introduction with CSS training course, you will learn web design for beginners including the concepts and skills required for using HTML and HTML5 effectively. This web designing course will allow you to learn web development by working hands-on starting with basics and ending with advanced techniques to get the most out of your training experience. You will be learning web design which includes the basics of coding, beginning with HTML, and advancing to more complex HTML5 and CSS fundamentals. The topics covered in this course include understanding what HTML5 is, the history of HTML, setting up a development environment using tools like Brackets and Code Editor, creating a page for HTML5 websites, implementing basic HTML tags, linking in HTML, inputting fields and forms, working with colors and formatting text with cascading style sheets (CSS), using CSS for page layout control, computing specificity with CSS, creating table elements and CSS, using list elements and CSS, working with web graphics, and finally, publishing and packing your HTML5 project.
Prerequisites: Students must have a good working knowledge of computers, operating systems, using a mouse, keyboard, standard menus and commands. Students must be able to open, save, and close applications and files, as well as navigate to other folders.
