In this hands-on, two-day Social Media for Government training course, you will learn the government social media best practices, practical applications, and standards. This social media training will explore overall social media goals, content strategy, platforms and content appropriate for your target audience, keyword research and applying SEO for all government social media posts. You will also gain an understanding of how to monitor accounts, use Google Analytics Social Reports to track social media metrics, and how to ensure your social media content meets Section 508 Accessibility guidelines.

Prerequisites for Attending Social Media for Government Training:
Students must have a good working knowledge of computers, operating systems, using a mouse, keyboard, standard menus and commands. Students must be able to open, save, and close applications, files, as well as navigate to other folders.
