Introduction to AutoCAD Training Course Description:

Autodesk’s AutoCAD software was one of the first CAD (Computer-aided design) programs, and is the most widely used CAD application today. AutoCAD is used for 2D and 3D design and drafting in every discipline including; architecture, MEP, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, electronics, interior design and industrial design. AutoCAD also can be used to generate STL (StereoLithography) files for 3D printing.

In ThinkB!G’s 3-day Introduction to AutoCAD training course, you will be introduced to the interface and the basic commands in AutoCAD. Through lecture, demonstration and hands-on exercises students will quickly become familiar with AutoCAD’s tools, their location, and most importantly how to use them efficiently.

You can take Intro by itself for 3 days and then Intermediate for 2 days when you are ready OR you can complete both trainings at once in a 5-day bootcamp! You can register for whichever option suits your needs by clicking the “Dates To Register” tab above!

 

Prerequisites for Attending Introduction to AutoCAD Training Course:

Students must have a good working knowledge of computers, operating systems, using a mouse, keyboard, standard menus and commands. Students must be able to open, save, and close applications and files, as well as navigate to other folders.
